Procedure

  1. Connect the DOIO directly with a data-capable USB cable.
  2. Open VIA and authorise the keyboard.
  3. Open Configure → Keymap → Layer 0.
  4. Programme all sixteen keys from the layout above.
  5. Programme counter-clockwise, clockwise and press for each encoder.
  6. Close VIA and open ThisBoard → Hardware setup.
  7. Press every key and turn every knob once. The last-input display should identify each control.
Not detected? Use only a VIA definition supplied for the exact KB16-01 revision. Do not import or flash files intended for a visually different keyboard.
